the content seems fine, but the kindle version doesn't have an index of any kind. you just have to flip through (slowly) to find the chapter or page you want.

This is a really good book. Definitively a complete reference on IDA Pro. Chris Eagle has gone to great lengths to put in the detailed screenshots and examples to illustrate the power of IDA. There are chapters on IDC scripting, reversing obfuscated code, etc. Every small feature of IDA is well documented. This book is a good reference for novice to advanced users. One thing that is missing (may not technically be termed missing because it was released after the book was published) is the bochs emulator support using IDA Plugins. Since it is a plugin, it cannot technically be termed missing but would have been cool to read about in this book...may be in the next edition. This is a definite buy for reverse engineering enthusiasts.

This is not just the best book for mastering IDA Pro, it is one of the best books I've ever read. It goes in depth, from beginning to end, with IDA Pro and also explains the principles necessary to understand how to effectively reverse engineer binaries. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn a lot and read great literature along the way.

I also did not find the IDA Pro help very useful.If you own a copy of IDA Pro you need a copy of this book. It clearly illustrates the many nuances of using IDA Pro and is full of tips and tricks.

The book's content is good, but the quality of the physical book is bad. It looks like someone use an original copy and put on a photocopy machine and make a second copy to form the book, then mail it to me. The words and images are not vivid enough and the pages alignment is oblique.

I have another book by this author “I am a little tiger” and love it so we wanted to get another animal but when it arrived it is a miniature size of the original.

Darling little book.

I bought this for my two year old grandson who loves alligators. I didn't even give him the book. It is not sturdy and is quite small, too tiny for a two year old's hands. I shall save it for later.

About four years ago I had a problem with knee pain, and was referred to a physical therapist who diagnosed the problem as tight hamstrings. I was instructed to do a stretch called a “quad set” in which one straightens the leg, then presses down hard on the knee and holds for about a minute. While this stretch gave temporary relief, the pain would return several hours later. I was advised to repeat the stretch when the pain returned. After several years of reduced activity due to the knee pain, I bought McKenzie's book. Instead of the quad set, I followed McKenzie's recommendation of a gradual stretch with a bent knee. After several months, the pain has stopped. My health insurance was billed over $300 for each of the sessions with the therapist, quite expensive compared to the cost of this book.The book also discusses changes in daily activities such as sitting and sleeping to reduces stress on the knee. If you have knee pain, you should read this book.

Fantastic! I had ongoing knee pain when running and/or walking fast, thought it was due to "bad knees" after 2 ACL repairs, but nope-- probably more postural, related to too much sitting. Whenever I have knee pain I use these exercises and my knee pain magically gets better. I also very much recommend the neck pain and back pain book in this series. Thank you Robin McKenzie!

Of course paleeze see your Doc, too! 😘 his knee is not perfect now, he still is in the maintenance mode, but this book sure helped him!! And he still does the exercises and can tell when he skips them!!! I hope this helps y’all too!! xo

All of the "Treat Your Own" books by Robin McKenzie are excellent. I messed up a lot of body parts when younger and am being reminded of it now that I am getting older. If your ailment is troublesome but not outside the scope of home treatment I highly recommend this book. Helped me for sure.

Over the past decade or so, his travel writing and photographs have appeared in most of the UK’s national newspapers and specialist travel magazines. Not really enough information to be really useful and, of course, you don't get the coloured pictures that are in real books. I was disappointed in this and it has rather put me off downloading similar travel books.

I usually enjoy Frommer's travel guides, however, this one included a lot of out-of-date information. We spent time in Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda and Granada and time and time again, we found that many of the restaurants included in this book no longer exist. Thank goodness we had also purchased the Rough Guide to Andalucia. I do not recommend purchasing the Frommer's guide.

We really like this book for planning a trip to southern Spain. It covers all aspects of travel and gives loads of options.

A good resource.

Frommers does us all the favor of actually visiting and reviewing places to stay, places to visit, places to eat and the best path to take to have a good tour. Very useful. Could benefit from more photos.

Far too much info on where to stay and dine. Walk around in the backstages and you'l find the places. But give more historical background and tell what REALLY to see and visit.

An interesting and funny review of the people and culture of Iceland. I bought the book to prepare for a visit there, my first time back since 1987. I recognize a lot of this book from my prior visit, so I put a great deal of credence in what I learn new. It's a brief book, well worth the price to anyone with an interest in Iceland and its people.

Enjoyed this book very much. The humor is understated and winning, the details vivid. Has a nice overview of the language, too.

I have only skimmed several sections of this book, but I found it very entertaining, much more so than the XG for the Danes. The Icelanders are even odder than I had imagined, and I learned many curious facts from this book. Icelanders are fiercely protective of their language, and go to great lengths to avoid borrowing foreign words, so cognates are not much help if you want to learn to speak Icelandic. A comment I found very amusing: "The Icelanders are pleased to the point of embarrassment if a foreigner learns their language." I don't want to spoil other readers' pleasure: check out the charming anecdote that follows this comment!My only criticism of this book is the small map showing Iceland's place in the Northern Hemisphere. The text is too small to read comfortably, even on my 15" monitor, and the map is slanted 90 degrees. No harm done: I know where Iceland is and what it looks like.

Fun, but some things don't seem accurate. I'm half Icelandic and have lots of family there.

When it comes down to it it's not worth the price of admission. At. All.The illustrations are decent but the tone of voice, supposedly from Batman's perspective, feels worse than rote.For longtime fans especially, who have grown up experiencing the dynamic between these fascinating characters, it adds nothing — you know more information and have better context than the book provides.Stay away and invest in a more critically acclaimed collection or stand-alone and give this one a hard pass.

If you are a die hard DC Fam - this is a must have addition to your collection! Reading through it, you almost feel they are are writing about real creatures - had to remind myself that these are just comic book characters! Very cool book - love it!

The book has fantastic illustrations and the printing really makes it look like it was written by Bruce Wayne himself. But where was the fact checking? Bizarro weak to green kryptonite? Come on. It's extended his life and actually made him a genius in the current Red Hood and the Outlaws run. Even a quick Google search has Bizarro listed as being weak to blue kryptonite and unaffected by green.

This book is simply stunning. I was expecting a nice hard covered book and was absolutely blown away. It's almost the size of a college course textbook in terms of actual dimensions (not length). The art is stunning and written from the point of view of Batman is a nice touch.

Beautiful illustrations, great narrative and "premise" from Batman's point of view. Book was much larger than I expected, which is awesome - bigger than a deluxe hardcover book, comparable to an absolute edition.

Very detailed and the illustrations are top notch. Lots of thought was put in. I like the college textbook approach. The writing compliments the detailed pictures well. Dry fun book to share with friends and fans of the medium. Makes for an awesome coffee table book. Please keep in mind this book will dominate conversations. It brings out the comic need in all of us.

Love this book! It goes into immense detail on how certain heroes and villains work. There’s almost 30 pages dedicated to Superman! The only reason I knocked a star off is because there aren’t a whole lot of characters in the book. That being said on the last page it lists other characters “for future study” which obviously hints at a second book.
